Sybil's My Merry Memoirs... a back alleyway in my childhood...

A stroll down Memory Lane: Many of you folks have asked about my family, my upbringing, my ancestors, and if it's true that I might be a member of European royalty...... The answer (modestly!) is Yes!....Have you ever heard of Greater and Lesser Marnier & The Triple Sec Islands?..... well, Mummie happens to be the constitutional monarch; Empress Sybil VI. Here's part of my family, on my mother's side...and yes, again; that's me, third from the right! I know. I know. In most countries, back in the old days, they dressed little boys to look like little girls until they were about 6....In our country, they dressed little girls to look like little boys, especially among the aristocracy! Don't ask me why!....although it was much easier to play Obstacle Course/Cross Country Croquet, Angry Ostrich Polo, and Hand Grenade Hide & Seek......ah, good times....good times.... Yes, folks! That alleyway is indeed the famous "Аллеиваи мученика уринира Саилорс" where in 1830 several of my ancestors and an assortment of senators, fishmongers, and.... um... "friendly lads" were gunned down in a misunderstanding involving pinochle and Turkish taffy. It has remained a semi-holy site for my family for picnics, bar mitzvahs, photo-ops... and spin-the-bottle...
